Farmers 5000 9/20/2026 @ 8am

Hey elementary school students! Join us at the Farmers 5000 on Sept. 20 and you could win prizes for your school from the Wheat Ridge Optimist Club. Grants are awarded to the schools with the highest percentage of participants, so every registration counts. Registration is just $12 and that includes a youth large T-shirt and all fees. Sign up today at www.farmers5000.org and select your school from the drop-down menu.

Wheat Ridge High School HOMECOMING 9/25/26 6pm-8:30pm

Wheat Ridge Coalition partners with the elementary schools and Everitt Middle to make sure all families are able to attend this game. In 2025 we were able to sponsor 29 ticket purchases! If you have a student in an Wheat Ridge elementary school or at Everitt please contact us to get your free tickets! We also raffle off WRHS gear at the game, so stop by for your chance to win!

Wheat Ridge Longer Tables – September 27th 12-2pm

This September, we are setting one long table for 300 people to bring community members together for an afternoon of food, conversation, and connection.

More than just a meal, the event is an opportunity for residents to meet someone new, strengthen community ties, and celebrate what makes Wheat Ridge special. The vision is simple but powerful: to turn strangers into neighbors and neighbors into friends.

Great work Wheat Ridge!!! Last year you pulled together to help 163 families/neighbors/students in your community!! Thank you to all who donated and volunteered Thank you to Liaisons and Principals who got the word out and of course to Excalibur Outreach for the partnership
